Replica of a English Steam-Lounch according plans from 1890 from Museum of Boates at Lake Windermere (Scottland).
Built 1991 at shipyard H. Biatel, Designer Prof. H. Salzmann, 35.4’ x 8.3’ x 1.8’ m, displ. 10570 lbs, mahogany cold moulded - WEST-system, teak deck, 15 Persons (13 pass. + 2 crew), salon 8 places, completely covered with enclosed steering position fwd., full safety equipment, side screens and harbour full-size cover.


Single-cylinder doubleacting single-expansion s.h. steam engine 4.5“ x 4“, 13,5 SHP, 320 rpm, with stephenson reversing gear, STUART 5A², built 1990 by E. Stark, gasnitrided liners, system by R. Schaffer & J. Maginot), 22 sqft atmosph. scoop condenser, 2 differential piston feedwater pumps, feedw. preheater 9.7 sqft.


Homokinetic articulated shaft, fixed pitch bronce propeller, 3-blades, 25“ x 35“.


Scotch boiler, Clyde type, built 1991 by E. Huggler, designer R. Schaffer, heating surface 74 sqft, superheater 10 sqft, 175 psi, 500 °F superheat temp., 350/400 lbs/hr, grate area 3.2 sqft, wood fired appr. 75 lbs/hr.

Aux. Machinery:

Feedwater treatment plant (ion exchange), hotwell 17.6 gal, 1 twin manual feedwater pump, 2 manual general service pumps (bilge/cooling water), 1 el. aux. cooling water pump, 1 el. bilge pump, battery charger, battery 12 V 55 Ahrs, Windermere boiler.


Hydraulic dual station steering gear, balanced rudder, emergency steering.


Compass, Sumlog, volt- and amperemeter, radio clock, barometer.
